Lubbock Symphony Orchestra Announces 2019-20 Season

 

LUBBOCK, TX –The Lubbock Symphony Orchestra (LSO) announced its 2019-2020 season, which features pieces from beloved composers including George Gershwin, Jean Sibelius, Johannes Brahms, Antonín Dvořák and Igor Stravinsky. The 73rd season also features appearances by guest artists such as William Westney (piano) and Chee-Yun (violin). The LSO kicks off the season on September 27 and 28 with its first Masterworks concert, “Seductive Classics.” Featuring the Bandini Chiacchiaretta Duo, this concert captures the warmth and charm of Argentina.

“We are very excited for this season and what it will bring to the Lubbock community,” said Galen Wixson, LSO president and CEO. “This season includes many talented guest artists you won’t want to miss, and several one-night-only concerts that promise a unique and exciting experience.”
