The LSO welcomes spring to the High Plains of West Texas with a presentation featuring fiery violinist Robert Chen, Concertmaster for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.  Mr. Chen will perform Felix Mendelssohn’s virtuosic Violin Concerto in E Minor.  The presentation will also include Mikhail Glinka’s stirring Ruslan and Ludmilla Overture and conclude with Johannes Brahm’s sumptuous and soul-searching Symphony No. 2, Opus 73 in D Major.
