VIRTUAL CONCERT SERIES
The Lubbock Symphony’s Virtual Concert Series was created to provide performance opportunities for our musicians who are otherwise unable to perform during the COVID-19 pandemic. Thanks to generous grants and donations from our community, we are able to livestream home performances by our talented musicians straight to our patrons’ screens. As the LSO prepares for another season of unforgettable performances in the new Buddy Holly Hall, we invite you, our patrons, to experience the joy that music brings from the comfort of home.
The new Virtual Concert Series is made possible in part by our COVID-19 Musician Relief Fund. This fund was created to provide financial assistance to our musicians who have experienced catastrophic income loss during this crisis. Started with a grant by the South Plains COVID-19 Response Fund, this fund provides virtual work opportunities, including educational activities and streaming concerts, as well as emergency grants for musicians facing financial hardships. Without your help, we simply could not continue to provide quality musical experiences to our wonderful Lubbock community. To donate, click the button below.
