Jenny Miller enjoys an enriching career as a teacher, solo performer, chamber musician, composer, and orchestral, musical, and opera harpist. She received her Bachelor of Music Education and Masters of Harp Performance from Texas Tech University, under the guidance of world-renowned harpist, Gail Barber. She is currently working as a graduate instructor of Music Theory and Harp at Texas Tech, while pursuing her Doctorate in Harp Performance. Jenny is the current principal harpist of the Amarillo Opera and Lubbock Symphony Orchestra. She has also performed as principal harpist for the Amarillo Symphony, Roswell Symphony, Midland Symphony, Plainview Symphony, Southwest Symphony, Chamber Music Amarillo, and Lubbock Moonlight Musicals. Jenny won the Dallas Harp Society competition in 2001, 2002, and 2006, and won first place in the Texas Scottish Festival harp competition for three consecutive years. Outside of the harp, Jenny teaches both music and dance in Lubbock, as well as enjoys running half-marathons and painting. A unique fact is that Jenny has a twin brother and her husband, Ben, has a twin sister!
