The Verdi Requiem

Come early at 6:00 PM for a pre-concert performance in the lobby by the Keegan Peck Quartet!

Presented by Armstrong Plumbing, Air, & Electric: Messa da Requiem is Italian operatic composer Giuseppe Verdi’s take on the Catholic funeral mass–a dramatic exploration of spirituality and humanism. The Lubbock Chorale and soloists join the LSO for a grand performance at The Buddy Holly Hall.

Lubbock Symphony ClefNotes is a weekly radio program on KLZK Classical 105.7 highlighting concerts given by the LSO. The program also goes behind the scenes giving the listener a taste of how a modern symphony orchestra functions. You’ll hear interviews with individual players, LSO Board members, staff, and long time patrons of the orchestra. Lubbock Symphony ClefNotes airs on Saturdays at 10:15 and Sundays at 6:30pm.
